Phobias
A phobia is an unrealistic fear of places, things or situations. In most cases, there is no appreciable danger and yet the fear persists. This can be a fear of public spaces (agoraphobia), elevators (claustrophobia), trash and dirt, spiders or other pests, even of people in general. Anxiety and phobias are very closely related. Phobias can fairly often lead to hyperventilation or panic attacks. And, as you can figure out for yourself, improper breathing can also greatly amplify the sense of anxiety, and vice versa.
In our experience, when breathing is restored to normal, the anxiety and phobias disappear.
